1955-57 Original Thunderbird Juniors built by Power Company in fall of 1954 thru 1957.
The Thunderbird Jr. is a child sized electric motor driven sport car for the younger set inspired by the Ford of the 1955 thru 1957 Thunderbird.
Undoubtedly encouraged by Ford, possibly even subsided Power Car found a special market when Ford with the delay of their own Thunderbird adopted the Thunderbird Jr. as an advertising and promotional sales gimmick to keep the interest stimulated in the coming Thunderbird The Junior model found favor in the marketing of all early models and was often used by Ford dealers as a novelty promotional item. I currently have a selection of Thunderbird Jrs awaiting completion or you refinish yourself. Your Choice. |
