The Packard has always had a reputation for quality and style and our example is a fine representation of those standards. With a mere 4722 total cars produced as 1950 models, this is definitely a rare car. The body, chassis and floors are in exceptional condition and the car has been beautifully repainted. The front and rear bumpers, guards, front parking light housings, rear tail light housings, grill and door handles have all been beautifully rechromed and the stainless steel trim polished to a high lustre. Inside, you'll find an absolutely outstanding original interior. The simulated woodgrain on the dash and garnish mouldings is impeccable, as is the dash trim and chrome, knobs, gauges, steering wheel etc. The upholstery on the seats, door panels and the headliner are a testament to just how pampered this car has been over its lifetime. Under the hood is Packards famous inline 8 cylinder engine and "Ultramatic" automatic transmission. Options and amenities include Ultramatic automatic transmission, Wide Whitewall Tires with beauty rings, fender shirts, original radio, roof mounted antenna, Heater/Defroster, Full Gauges, Clock, Front and rear Cigarette Lighters, Gas Filler Guard and Exhaust Deflector. This classic and nostolgic collectible is an excellent example of Packard's quality and is the right combination of rare originality with just enough restoration without destroying that originality.
