"Fords" top of the line "Crown Victoria" was introduced in 1955 and was a big hit with the public then and is a huge hit with collectors today. Our example here was restored about 25 years ago when she was treated to a gorgeous turquoise and white two tone repaint, along with rechromed front and rear bumpers, bumper guards, grill and front parking light housings. Ginger bread items such as scripts, emblems, lenses etc., were replaced with new.The stainless steel trim and mouldings are brilliant, straight and in excellent original conditon. Inside, the seats had been reupholstered and the carpets, headliner,
door and trim panels replaced with new. Under the hood is a strong running 272 CID, 2BBL V-8, linked to a smooth shifting Fordomatic automatic transmission. Options and amenities include Automatic transmission, Dual Exhaust, AM Radio, Heater, Clock, Fender Skirts, Stone Shields, Rear Mount Antenna and Backup lights. These are highly sought after investment cars. This is an older restoration that would make a nice driver or an excellent candidate to be refreshed back to show winning glory!
