1965 was the second year of T-Birds 4th generation body style, and it was more popular than ever. Our latest addition to the family has a rock solid original body, chassis and floors and has been freshly repainted in gorgeous "Pastel Yellow"
(Lemon Tree Yellow) enamel. The car boasts the original chrome, trim, emblems, scripts, grill etc., which are in exemplary condition and a testament to how well the car was maintained over its life time. Inside you'll find freshly reupholstered front and rear seats and new carpets amid the original door and trim panels, as well as dash pad that is free of tears and cracks. Keeping things covered, is a new convertible top that fully retracts into the trunk compartment that is detailed with a new upholstery trim kit. Under the hood, tucked into the beautifully detailed engine bay, is a strong running 390 CID V-8 linked to a smooth shifting automatic transmission. Power options and amenties include Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, Air Conditioning, Power Windows, AM Radio, Swing Away Steering Wheel, Sequential Turn Signals and Fender Skirts. The 4th Generation T-Bird would be the last body style Ford would offer in a convertible, and in 1965 a mere 6,846 units were built making this car not only rare, but a highly desired, "quality" collectible!
